Fan Petitions Quentin Tarantino to Direct Deadpool 2
With the departure of Tim Miller from Deadpool 2 a new petition addressed to Ryan Reynolds is circulating that would like to see Quentin Tarantino come aboard to direct. Miller left following creative differences between himself and star Ryan Reynolds. The biggest issue between the actor and director was that they reportedly couldn’t agree on who to cast as Cable in the upcoming sequel.
Reynolds actually revealed Tarantino as his ‘dream choice’ to direct the film back in 2009:
“You think directors for a movie like this and you immediately picture [Quentin] Tarantino or somebody like that,” told MTV News. “Obviously Tarantino is a guy that likes to direct his own material, so there’s a good chance he wouldn’t be the guy. We all have our lists of dream directors.”
‘Knight Rider’ Reboot From Justin Lin Set at Machinima
Producer-director Justin Lin is on board for a digital remake of the 1980s TV series, which starred David Hasselhoff. Digital network Machinima has partnered with Lin and his YOMYOMF production shingle, along with NBCUniversal Brand Development, to develop the “Knight Rider” series with an eye to a potential 2017 launch. Lin (“Star Trek Beyond,” “Fast & Furious” films) and YOMYOMF will produce the new digital series. There’s no casting info yet on the project, and Machinima has not set distribution for “Knight Rider.” Other spinoff shows based on the original franchise over the years have included “Knight Rider 2000,” “Knight Rider 2010” and “Team Knight Rider.”

Reported by Billboard, Prince’s Paisley Park is now a museum. The Chanhassen City Council in Minneapolis voted unanimously Monday night (Oct. 24) to rezone the late superstar’s home and studio, meaning the iconic complex can stay open for public tours on an ongoing basis.

Dancer and choreographer Shirlene Quigley had been missing since early Sunday (Oct. 23) when she was last seen boarding a bus at Port Authority in New York City. Quigley has performed with Beyoncé, Rihanna and Missy Elliott. The latter two posted about Quigley’s disappearance in hopes it’ll aid in her return. After asking social media for help in locate Quigley, North Bergen Police reported she was “safe and being treated at an undisclosed location.”
