New Willy Wonka Movie In The Works
From Variety: Warner Bros. is planning another movie with Willy Wonka. The studio is joining forces with Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them producer David Heyman for a film that’ll center entirely around Wonka. The movie isn’t an origin story, but it will focus on Wonka’s early adventures.
Thomas Kail and Common To Produce Fox Comedy
Deadline reports “Hamilton” director Thomas Kail and rapper-actor Common are set produce a new comedy, “93 Til Infinity” for Fox. The buddy comedy centers on a formerly successful ’90s rapper who is struggling in the present day as he reconnects with his best friend from middle school, who is equally desperate to emerge from a mid-life crisis.

Drake Has Spotify’s Most-Streamed Song Ever
Drake officially has the most-streamed song in Spotify history with “One Dance”. Spotify reports that the song has surpassed 880 million plays on its international platform. The previous record of 526 million plays across the planet was set by Diplo and DJ Snake’s “Lean On,” which took the crown last year. “One Dance,” which features Wiz Kid and Kyla, was Drizzy’s first-ever song to top Billboard’s Hot 100 chart back in May.
Jay Z Is Getting A ‘Reasonable Doubt’ Pop-Up Exhibit In New York
Via Vibe: Jay Z is getting a pop-up exhibit in New York that will commemorate the 20th anniversary of his 1996 classic album Reasonable Doubt. The “Roc96″ pop-up event is bringing brought to life by Roc-A-Fella records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke. The three day event will feature a replica of Studio B Control Room — the studio where Jay Z recorded parts of his Reasonable Doubt record. The exhibit will also sell merchandise including scarves, wooden headphones, turntables, duffle bags, and more.

Rapper Bobby Shmurda Sentenced To Seven-year Prison Term
Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to seven years in prison on Wednesday. Shmurda attempted to persuade a judge to overturn his previously arranged plea deal. “I want to withdraw my plea,” Shmurda said during his sentencing in a Manhattan courtroom, according to NBC New York. “I was forced by my attorney to take the plea. I was forced.” New York state court Justice Abraham Clott denied Shmurda’s request, enforcing the seven-year term agreed upon in September. Shmurda has locked locked up since being arrested in December 2014.
Hollywood Reacts to Third & Final Presidential Debate
The third and final presidential debate was presented last night (October 19) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton squared off against Republican nominee Donald Trump. Hollywood & everyone alike shared their commentary on Twitter as the two candidates discussed immigration, abortion and the selection of the next Supreme Court Justice. Trump’s less-than-eloquent lines about getting rid of the “bad hombres” and calling his opponent a “nasty woman” were easy targets for social media fodder.
